Today I attended the Tea (Taxed Enough Already) Party rally in Carson City. I shook hands and spoke with many of the participants.The patriotism and pure love of country that the participants express is inspiring. The Tea Party is a symbol of why this country, is the greatest country, the world has ever known. It’s a symbol of Power to the People and freedoms triumph. The Tea Partiers are not there for a political party, specific cause, or a single issue. They are there because this country and the people in it are exceptional. They are not about to let this current government destroy 230 years of exceptionalism. There is an internal battle brewing between a government for the people or a people for the government. The Tea Partiers want the best for all Americans and refuse to allow tyranny to replace FREEDOM!

When the liberals lost the Kennedy seat in Massachusetts, America cheered! We cheered because Scott Brown vowed to vote against ObamaCare. We cheered because we thought that the message was sent “loud and clear” to our President and the democrat super majorities. We cheered because we thought the silver bullet killed a complete government takeover of the greatest health care system in the world. The President has been trying relentlessly to pass Obamacare since August of 09′. Hundreds of polls have been taken since then and not one, I repeat not ONE poll is in favor of Obamacare. The latest one that I read shows that 73% of Americans want this bill to be defeated. It is obvious that Obama and the libs are working in concert against the will of the American people. Don’t you see that this is not about health care. This is about government control, power and trillions of your tax dollars. Unemployment is at an all time high. Jobs are being lost, full-time employees are cut to part-time , overtime is almost non-existent. Our national economy is in shambles. And what is the only issue our president cares about???? The largest government social program takeover in the history of our existence. If Americans are so stupid and this bill is soo great, then why are the following taking place?
. Bribes with your tax dollars (Louisiana, Nebraska, and Florida. multi-million dollar bribes to the representative of these states for a YES vote)
. Taxes start immediately but the health care coverage doesn’t start until year 2013. (Huge tax increase)
. the President and the entire congress are EXEMPT from the bill (we will continue to pay for their top of the line health insurance with private doctors for the entirety of their lives. Even if their voted out of office
. the bill that congress is trying to pass this weekend is the same bill the senate passed on Christmas eve while we weren’t paying attention.
Health care is not a right. Rights come from God. God grants us our rights to speak freely and live free from government. We have a government of the people, not the other way around.

In 2006 Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the democrats took control of congress by winning the majorities in both houses. Congress, by constitutional authority has the power of the purse (spending our money) not the president. Presidents can only sign a bill into law or veto it. To our dismay, George W. Bush signed all of Pelosi and the democrats spending bills into law. All of which were voted in favor of by then senator Barack Obama. In 2008, Barack Obama was elected president along with super majorities of democrats in both houses of congress. And they continued to spend hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of BILLIONS of our tax dollars. All of which were signed into law by Barack Obama. So when B. Obama talks about the debt he inherited, he voted in favor of it!!! And now as President Obama ,he has signed into law 4 times as much spending in one year than Bush did in eight years. These pathetic democrats are spending this country into oblivion,sending us the tab, and blaming it all on Bush.
